Geocaching...new hobby
by LB inthis is a fun activity and i suppose i'm the only one around here that does this.
it involves a gps unit, the internet and good hiking shoes.
you can find lots of info at www.geocaching.com and see if there are any caches in your area.

Not to be critical, but your shoes look more like cross trainers than hiking shoes.
I think the board deserves an explanation if you are to have any credibility going forward.

THE EX-[ELDERS] FILES: EYES WIDE SHUT
by AMNESIAN in(dont let the title scare or piss you off.
stay with it to the end---even if it takes you a while---and then, if you wish, by all means get pissed as you wanna be.

, but *some* men seem to have a heavier dose of that trait.
Yes. More than *some* other men. Less than *some* other women.
Good lord. Peoples pride over their sexuality and race amazes me. Two things no one has, nor had, any control over.

It is funny though, after reading all of this, and looking at the zoomed in photo (which makes it clear what it isn't- a penis), go back and look at the original illustration. Sure enough, your eye now goes right to what looks very much like an erection on that dude.

Regarding scriptural quotes in a post.....
by terafera inthis is in regards to a post by 'anewperson'.
at first i found it very interesting and was amazed at the wealth of information that is in refute to the way jw's believe.
but then i looked up the scriptures quoted and found that some of them, most, do not support the sentence in which they are mentioned in.

I took a quick look at some of your scriptures (not all). While I think it good that you are checking them out, your comprehension seems low. anewperson may not have explained why he used those scriptures, but understanding his point, and reading those scriptures, it is odd that you can come to such WT like conclusions, or at least could not see his points.
The blood scripture; pretty obvious that it is was treated rather lightly by God, and these men where not even trying to sustain life (you remember life don't you? that sacred thing?). They were merely very hungry and impatient. All God needed to forgive them was the smell of burning cow. Hardly the same as being cut off from your family and community wouldn't you agree?
Job for instance; his "cursing his day" while certainly not advocating birthday celebration, is in NO (zero, nada, zilch) way a condemnation, or for that matter, even a mention of b-day celebrations. The other scriptures about Job's children may in fact well be mentions of b-day celebrations. Some bible translators certainly thought so, and it certainly is what those scripture sound like.

And the sky is black and still now
On the hill where the angels sing
Ain't it funny how an old broken bottle
Looks just like a diamond ring
But it's far, far from me............Well, a question ain't really a question
If you know the answer too. -

I GOT TWO NEW RETURN VISITS TODAY!!
by Ranchette ini do have two new return visits but they are not from field service.. my womens club went to a local nursing home today.
we brought the elderly gifts, we sang songs with them, and we brought our pets, and listened to them.
they were so happy to see us and share some of their lifes experiences with us.. it was different to go to a nursing home with no ulterior motives like pushing jw literature.. it felt right to just give them what they wanted most.

Hello In There
© John PrineChorus:
Ya know that old trees just grow stronger,
And old rivers grow wilder ev'ry day.
Old people just grow lonesome
Waiting for someone to say, "Hello in there, hello."So if you're walking down the street sometime
And spot some hollow ancient eyes,
Please don't just pass 'em by and stare
As if you didn't care,
say, "Hello in there, hello." -
